Some seriously cool stuff… Media with human interaction built in

If this is any type of preview for what tech toys will be like in the future, I think ourselves and generations to come will be just fine when it comes to alternative learning tools.
Pretty amazing stuff, pay careful attention to the last example he performs

I consider this an outstanding invention. The technology isn’t new, but rather a combination of existing technologies to create something intuitive, interactive, and fundamentally attractive to many different groups. I see great potential for parents wanting something for their children to play with but learn from at the same time. You just can’t beat good old “Legos” in my eyes, but this certainly approaches the prospect of doing so.
Very nice find, Jerod. I enjoy nearly everything that is shown on TED.

I agree this is a very nice find. I recall the first time you sent me a link to one of these videos, Charles. It amazes me what is hidden or at least under the radar out there.
Jerod, it’s appropriate that you placed that link here. True to the name of this site, reality is indeed vast.
There’s a lot of potential for these devices, education being one of them. We’ll have machines that can sense their surroundings and interact with them but on an autonomous level.
Reality, indeed vast and to me mysterious. A mystery ready to be explored.
